Nancy Hromack, BSN, RN has enjoyed a 46 year-long career in healthcare that has spanned a range of experiences, from intensive care nursing to medical policy and quality management. She is licensed as a Registered Nurse in the states of Delaware and Pennsylvania and has held a range of professional certifications.
Early in her career, Nancy worked as a staff nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she led efforts to develop an inpatient cardiac rehab program while sharing clinical expertise with medical center employees by developing and operating various staff training programs. After twenty years of service in critical care, she pivoted to the corporate sector, performing medical review, developing medical policy, educating Medicare providers and assessing compliance with accreditation of NCQA standards and quality improvement activities including HEDIS and Risk Adjustment for Highmark, Inc. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Nancy served as a medical volunteer for the DE Medical Reserve Corps/RespondDE. She continues to volunteer in this role.
Nancy received her B.S. in Nursing from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she was awarded the Caritas Christi Award for Academic Excellence in Clinical Performance and completed studies for her nursing diploma at the Altoona Hospital School of Nursing in Altoona, Pennsylvania where she served as class president.
Rose Rossi, PhD, MBA, RN is a senior executive in healthcare education. Rose is Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs at Widener University in West Chester, PA, where she manages a $6M undergraduate program budget with 3K undergraduate students and 40 undergraduate programs. Rose also serves as Professor for the Department of Nursing at Widener and has secured a $1.6M, four-year US Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Nursing Workforce Diversity Grant.
With a foundation in nursing and academia, complemented by an MBA and PhD, Rose leads strategic initiatives that bridge education, healthcare, and business management. From her beginnings as a nurse to her roles as professor and Associate Dean, Rose has driven significant operational improvements and program developments across diverse environments that encourage innovation and learning and equipping teams to deliver on both short-term goals and long-term visions.
Rose is narrative researcher and knows the power of storytelling. She uses that power to help students grow as people, support their professional and intellectual development, and to expand their world views. Rose is also the Associate Editorial Director for Delaware Nurses Association's Reporter Magazine.
Rossi received her Doctor of Nursing Science and Master of Business Administration from Widener University, Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, and Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Villanova University.
Jane Kurz, PhD, RN is Professor (adjunct) of Nursing at LaSalle University. Dr. Kurz has previously served as Chair and Associate Dean at Temple University and Chair of Nursing at LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA. She also served on faculty at University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, Holy Family University, and Delaware State University.
Dr. Kurz’s research has focused on families involved in lung transplantation and issues regarding students. She published her studies in a variety of nursing journals, e.g., Journal of Nursing Regulation, Teaching and Learning in Nursing, Journal of Professional Nursing, and Progress in Transplantation. She is a regular reviewer for several journals. She received grant funding from US Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Highmark Blue Cross/Blue shield, City of Philadelphia, and local organizations. Her international work includes two USAID sponsored trips to Ukraine and the 2014 Nightingale London trip with students to explore the historical and current health care system in England.
Dr. Kurz received her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Family Studies from University of Delaware and Master of Science in Nursing from Widener University.
Bonnie Perratto, MSN, MBA, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE is an accomplished healthcare executive with more than 50 years of nursing and leadership experience. Bonnie is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She has served as a Magnet Appraiser for the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Magnet Recognition Program for 16 years. Bonnie advocates for excellence in health care and organizations who value nursing talent and nursing innovation.
Bonnie’s amazing career includes serving as Senior Vice President /Chief Nurse Executive (retired) for Bayhealth Medical Center in Delaware, Senior Vice President of Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Humility of Mary Health Partners in Ohio, Vice President/CNO for Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and Director of Nursing at New York-Presbyterian-Allen Hospital in northern Manhattan, New York. Bonnie also held nursing administrative roles at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Massapequa General Hospital, St John’s Episcopal Hospital, and Highland Health Care Center.
Bonnie received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and Master of Business from Adelphi University.
Bet Key Wong, MSN, RN, CNORe has been in healthcare for over 40 years and is a self-described social entrepreneur and innovator. She enjoys tackling complex healthcare problems. Bet is the Team Lead for Nurses & Neighbors’ Grant Award from AARP’s 2023 Community Challenge and Co-Lead for the Winning Team “Price is Right” at the 2021 NurseHack4Health Hackathon. Bet leads several projects that address access to care, health equity, health literacy, caregiving and transportation. She serves on several Delaware healthcare initiativs and currently chairs the quality improvement committee as a Board member of La Red Health Center in southern Delaware.
Bet started her healthcare career as a medicinal chemist for DuPont in Wilmington, Delaware. She moved from research and development to clinical research, sales, and clinical nursing for several pharmaceutical and medical device companies such as Merck, Johnson & Johnson and 3M. Bet was a clinical educator for perioperative services at BayHealth Medical Center in Milford, Delaware and staff/charge nurse at Beth Israel Lahey Health in Burlington, Massachusetts.
Bet received her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from Brown University, Master of Science in Chemistry from University of Rochester, and Master of Science in Nursing from Worcester State University.
